Okay, so here’s a thing about Prom I just thought of . . . how do you get to Prom? One time, I read about a guy and a girl that did a skydive to their school’s Prom. Or maybe I dreamed it. I sleep a lot.

So, lots of people take the limo. You know, those cars that look like wiener dogs? Man, I love those dogs. I like to imagine they live in holes on the beach.

I will not be taking a limo for two reasons:

Number one) It costs more scratch than I got

Number two) I just thought of it this morning and they are all spoken for.

So, if you have not reserved a limo for the Prom already . . . let’s talk options.

There are cars:

There’s your car (which is probably gross)

There’s your date’s car (you ride in the passenger seat)

There’s your friend’s car (you ride in the back seat)

There’s your dad’s car (which comes with a lecture about responsibility)

There’s her dad’s car (points for thinking outside of the box, but awkward)

And there’s the bus. I’ve been told it’s not romantic. But no one else does this! It’s a unique memory just the two of you share (with some other people, I guess) And who can put a price on memories?

The city charges $2.50, plus .25 for a transfer.

So, pretty affordable memories.
