Brookside High Prom Bulletin

Dear Senior Girls,

It sounds silly, but as soon as I started my high school career (um, this year), I started thinking about Prom.

To some, it may just be a party. But to me, it’s something different . . . it’s like four years of romance and excitement and drama all rolled into one night! And it’s going to be amazing… If you get to go.

I might be a freshman, but I still know more about Prom than my stepbrother Lloyd. You’ve probably heard of him. He’s the one who dressed up in a bear suit to ask Julie Scinto to Prom. Yeah, I know.

Watching Lloyd make Prom preparations is like watching a baby bird get pushed out of a nest over and over again. In case you are wondering, he can’t fly.

I know he needs a little work, but could ONE of you ladies please find some kindness in your heart and say “yes” when he asks you?

And believe me if he hasn’t asked yet, he will.
