Brookside High Prom Bulletin

Welcome to Brookside High's official blog!

This is THE place to experience student life at our school. Because this isn't just a place for me to express MY point of view - Brookside students and faculty also get a chance to post Tweets, texts and videos of their own.

Think of it as our school's living yearbook. Don't forget to subscribe! This is one club you're going to want to be a part of.

Every Prom needs tunes. It sets the mood, even before you get to the dance.

As soon as she gets in your car, the Prom experience should begin. Start things off with some fun jams, you know?

My girlfriend is a model and also Greek, so that means she likes a good Euro House sound. It’s not my thing, but it puts her in the right space, you know?

From there, you’re gonna want to segue into some kind of slow situation. Something that’s going to set the tone for a night of magic and mystery.

Old people music is really good for this, but you have to choose this stuff carefully.

Also, stay away from jazz. It can trick you by starting soft and sweet . . . but at some point, some guy will go bananas on a trumpet. It can be scary.

Here’s a tip about music on Prom. Don’t sing along. Even if it’s your favorite tunes, just let the music wash over you and set the mood for you.
