What’s your favorite thing about Brookside High?
Mei: It’s dumb to say my boyfriend, right? So, art class. Which we have together.
Justin: Mei is a really amazing artist.
Mei: He’s my boyfriend. He has to say that.
Justin: Seriously, though. She’s great. When she gets the nerve to seriously pursue it. I’ll be her biggest supporter.
Any tips for on how to be a great class couple?
Justin: It’s important to be individuals, but we’re really strongest as a couple.
Mei: For instance, you should have seen Justin before I started dressing him.
What are your plans for the future?
Mei: First, Justin and I are going to go to college together – Michigan. Maybe three years in, we’ll move in together - but not tell my parents - and then, definitely, get a wrinkle puppy. We’ll name him Parsons. After that, who knows?
Justin: There’s actually a lot more to this plan, but she’s playing it cool right now.
What does Prom mean to you as a couple?
Justin: We’re closing a chapter in our lives. And starting a new one.
Mei: Also, it means Justin is going to do something super-sweet to ask me to Prom.
Any last advice?
Justin: When you find something you really love, hold onto it.
Mei: Awwwww!
