Sometimes it's better if people just don't know where you came from, so maybe jump off the bus, walk outside the gate and around to the softball field nearby. It might confuse people to see you walk in from the softball field in the morning like "Oh wait, I guess you were just getting in some early underhand fast pitch practice." And you're like "Yeah, that's what I was exactly doing ... I mean I know it's a girls-only team. I was teaching girls how to throw. And hit. The softball. Also, girls, right? And good morning.”
Point being "confusing" is better than "bus-rider."
